Durrës, Albania, Saturday, 21st of april

Durrës is the most important seaport in Albania and the second larges city after Tirana. We made a weekend trip to Durrës, which is not only a port but also the most important bathing city of Albania.

An alternative way of creating a beach restaurant – sailing a ship up on the beach
On our way along the beach to the harbour, we had to leave the coast because the international harbour was fenced, and we passed some gypsy shacks
Durrës Amphitheatre The city hosts the Durres Ancient City Wall while the largest amphitheatre in the Balkans is located in the city close to the harbour. This first-century construction is currently under consideration for inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site
