Lisbeth was in Sarajevo on a 5-day holiday, and Sunday we took the train to Mostar. Departure was 6:25. Luckily, it was just the day when the change from summer time to winter occurred so it just gave us an extra hour.
The train to Mostar runs through the mountains, with plenty of tunnels. It was a synny day and the forest, which covers most of the mountain was in autumn colors, so it was a very nice trip. Nature and the climate is quite different from Sarajevo to Herzegovina where Mostar is the capital. Sarajevo has a continental climate while Mostar has a Mediterranean climate.
Mostar is a very charming, cozy and touristic town. The famous bridge is always nice, no matter how many times you have seen it. We had lunch at a restaurant with a very nice view of the river, sharply observed by 6-8 cats begging for some leftovers and looking very envious and hungry.
